Ironman Melbourne 2013

The early story of the day was the wind, that caused the swim leg to be shortened from 3.8km to 1.5km, and which also made the bike leg hard work…and the run, also!! Nonetheless, there were great performances and it was fantastic to track progress online. Here is how our guys (incl some people I coach) went:
David Green – 8:39:07hr, 50th overall, 9th in M35-39  (Hawaii IM qualifier!!)
Mark Harrison – 9:03:10hr, 144th overall, 22nd in M40-44  (Hawaii IM qualifier!! – got a roll-down spot)
