There was a moderate breeze blowing for the inaugural City2Bay event, which included a 10km from Docklands to St Kilda, and 5km along Beaconsfield Pde in St Kilda. Our runner, Megan, was lining up as a last minute entry (ie, 4:30pm on Saturday!!!) after holidays in quite a competitive race. She ran with 3 other girls early on but broke away to WIN the women’s race!!! Wow!!! The wind slowed times a little.
