November Stotan – Rhiannon Snipe

This is our monthly awarding of the Stotan, to acknowledge an athlete in our group who has a notable accomplishment during the month. A full definition of The Stotan Code is here http://lovetherun.com.au/2010/09/26/the-stotan-code/. “We are true stotans. We run all day, never complain, and give it all we got in every race.”

Nominations this month are dominated by triathlon results from Shepparton, as follows:

James Worth – for completing his Commerce degree before starting with KPMG next May.
Dave Symonds – for overcoming injuries, bee stings, sickness and more to still do a PB in Shepparton.
Rhiannon Snipe – not for running…but after not much triathlon training, pulls out a huge PB in Shepparton en route for New Zealand IM.
Jeff Steven – for recovering from recent surgery and associated lay-off to also do a PB in Shepparton.
Michael Gilles-Smith – for showing great gusto at training, and doing his first 5km run event in a team at the Gatorade Triathlon.

And the winner is…Rhiannon Snipe. Congratulations!!!
